Oskarovac Martin Scorsese i višestruko nominiran za mnoge filmske nagrade Leonardo DiCaprio ponovno surađuju zajedno, ovaj put na trileru „Shutter Island“ radnjom smještenim u 1954. godinu. Policajac Teddy Daniels (DiCaprio) istražuje nestanak osuđenog ubojice koji je pobjegao iz umobolnice, a za kojeg se sumnja da se skriva na zabačenom otoku Shutter. Mark Ruffalo, Ben Kingsley i Michelle Williams također glume u ovoj napetoj priči koja nikoga neće ostaviti ravnodušnim…
